Demands on the functionality and design of the windows are continually increasing. Thanks to our research and development, we can offer design solutions as well as solutions in the materials and process engineering field – and this requires a high level of technological expertise.

System Solutions

Our customers are tending more and more towards window systems. We provide system solutions for the automobile window sector that exactly meet these requirements, from the earliest phase of concept development.

Coating Systems

In comparison to normal glass, the surface behaviour of glass with self-cleaning properties is changed in such a way that dirt finds it difficult to stick to the surface. With hydrophobic coating, we provide good visibility at all times.

Plastic Covers

Plastic panel styling allows window guide rails and fixing elements to be incorporated at low cost and permits a freedom of design which metal panels cannot offer.

Prototype + Spare Parts

Richard Fritz Prototype + Spare Parts GmbH (PSP) is a 100%, independently-operating subsidiary of Richard Fritz Holding GmbH. PSP is specialised in manufacturing small and very small quantities using standardised processes without any compromises regarding the quality.

Detailed Information

1946

Today’s Richard Fritz Holding GmbH originated when Richard Fritz founded a wholesale company for moulded rubber and plastic engineering parts with its headquarters in 1946 in Stuttgart. The product portfolio was limited to seals and bellows.

1958

The company founded its own manufacturing facility in Besigheim in 1958.

1983

First Glass encapsulation projects in Europe – VW Golf 2 Fixed Glass und Opel Omega A Fixed Glass

1993

Establishment of Plant Aszod in Hungary; Products: Moulded rubber parts

2000

Establishment of Plant Aurach in Germany; Products: Glass encapsulation, value add operations, hydrophobic coating

Establishment Plant Malacky in Slovakia; Products: Glass encapsulation, modular production, Just in Sequence Deliveries
