Product creation process
Rising customer expectations, increasing global competition and unrelenting cost pressure make it imperative to develop mature products that are ready to go into production.
Each process must be sufficiently robust and reliable before the start of production to ensure that all components meet the given quality requirements.
Maturity is an especially important criterion for ruling out start-up problems in new projects.
By having a standardised development process and applying strict acceptance procedures we can ensure that products and processes are sufficiently robust and meet all quality requirements.
This also applies to cost-effectiveness, environmental protection and occupational safety.
The product creation process is based on industry-specific and customer-specific requirements, along with the requirements of government, society, interested parties, environmental protection and occupational safety.
Requirements specific to the automotive industry include ISO TS 16949, VDA stipulations (see the VDA publication series), specific customer requirements pertaining to ISO TS 16949 and additional customer requirements pertaining to VDA publications (such as specifications, standards and guidelines).
Only by satisfying our customers’ needs will we be able to successfully place our products on the market and enjoy a secure future.
